잘알았구요.  OS X 입니다.  그 생겨난 파일이 어디에 있나요.
파인더에서 찾아야하나요.... 아님 윈도우에서처럼 무슨 그림판이나 어떤 프로그램에서 붙이기를 해야하는지요.

만약 OS X을 사용 중이시라면, Command+Shift+4를 클릭한 후에 활성화된 윈도우 위에 마우스를 갖다 대고 Space를 누르면, 해당 활성 윈도우만 캡쳐가 됩니다.

그리고 매킨토시는 캡쳐를 하면 파일의 확장자가 붙지를 않습니다.
따라서 OS 9라면 .pct(아니면 .pic나 .pict, 정확히 기억이 나질 않아서... ^^)를, OS X이라면 .png를 캡쳐 받은 파일에 붙여주셔야 PC에서 열 수 있으니 참조하시기 바랍니다.
